We are looking for an experienced multi-unit Facilities Manager to oversee all building-related activities within our organization.  You will be responsible for ensuring all of our facilities are clean, safe and in good repair by managing work orders through in-house resources as well as vendor relationships, routine facility visits and strong communication with each unit level management team.  The ideal candidate will be well-organized, experienced, adaptable, detail oriented, reliable and passionate about what you do. 


Responsibilities 
      

  • Work closely and effectively to communicate with the VP Development and Operations leaders to reduce overall R&M costs, repairs, projects and replacements to reduce downtime and maximize productivity and life of our assets. 
  •  Be responsible for overseeing the fixed assets and leasehold improvements at all businesses. 
  • Manages, supervises, selects and oversees vendors and contractors to ensure efficient repairs that meet company standards. 
  •  Prioritizes the maintenance and repairs of all assets that directly impact our guests or team members  Services restaurants by analyzing work orders, planning schedule, handling and overseeing repairs and following up with managers to resolve issues. 
  • Control and monitor safety policies, codes, regulations and procedures. 
  •  Manage team of facilities personnel on the corporate level and advise on candidates for store level. 
  •  Oversees and directs maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, preventive maintenance and reviews daily work orders submitted by the locations. 
  • Leads, manages, and supports the maintenance work orders and daily repairs for multiple locations and ensures repairs are completed in a timely manner and with sense of urgency. 
  • Monitors the work orders, statuses and repairs through work order system. 
  •  Ensures safety, health department and property management issues are handled with high priority and in compliance with all OSHA and city ordinances. 
  •   Performs bi-annual facilities assessments. 
  • Over see repairs/replacements functions and oversees repairs from contractors and third parties on a wide range of restaurant equipment, electrical systems HVAC/R, plumbing and building structures. 
  •  Reviews R & M projects and budgets 
  •   Assists operations and restaurants by trouble-shooting over the phone to diagnose repairs. 
  • Maintains integrity of all vendor documents including but not limited to Certificates of Insurance and Licenses for local Vendors. 
 

Qualifications
 
  •  Four-year college degree or equivalent vocational school certification of electrical or equipment. Experience can compensate for education. 
  •   3 years of project management experience managing multiple projects, 3-5 years of maintenance, mechanical and facilities knowledge and skills 
  • Knowledge in building codes, safety regulations, maintenance practices and procedures. 
  •  Experience in a multi-unit restaurant or retail environment preferred. Experience with restaurant or cooking equipment highly desirable 
  •  Customer service, administrative, computer and communication skills 
  •  Computer proficient using Microsoft and work order system programs 
  • EPA or HVAC/R license (Preferred) 
  •   Operates and use of all hand/power tools, diagnostic and test equipment 
  • Ability to work independently, exercising good judgement and initiative 
  •  Bilingual in English/Spanish (Preferred)

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
