We are seeking a driven and passionate General Manager to lead our team and uphold our high standards of hospitality and excellence. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
Leadership and Team Management: 
  • Act as a natural leader, fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Hire, train, and mentor staff to ensure exceptional performance and adherence to restaurant standards.
  • Lead by example, inspiring the team to deliver outstanding service and hospitality.
  • Resolve conflicts and challenges promptly with professionalism and attention to detail.
Operational Oversight:
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure seamless service and smooth workflows.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient environment, implementing systems to optimize operations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary and front-of-the-house teams to deliver a consistently excellent dining experience.
  • Monitor and supervise purchasing to ensure inventory accuracy and control costs.
Guest Experience:
  • Be passionate about exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the dining room, engaging with guests and resolving concerns promptly.
  • Work with the team to create and execute unique dining experiences tailored to the restaurant’s modern and upscale reputation.
Wine and Cocktail Program:
  • Oversee the wine program, ensuring an expertly curated selection that complements the menu. 
  • Work in tandem with our sommelier to keep the wine list fresh and innovative. 
  • Supervise the development and execution of a creative and well-rounded cocktail program.
  • Train staff on wine and cocktail pairings, upselling techniques, and overall beverage knowledge.
  • Maintain inventory and relationships with suppliers to keep the beverage program dynamic and profitable.
Financial and Cost Control:
  • Prepare and manage sales forecasts to set realistic goals and measure progress.
  • Analyze financial performance, including labor, food and beverage costs, to ensure long term profitability.
  • Implement cost control measures to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Oversee purchasing and vendor relationships to secure high-quality products at competitive pricing.
Problem Solving:
  • Anticipate and address operational or guest-related issues proactively.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions effectively.
  • Work under pressure while maintaining poise and professionalism.
Administration:
  • Develop schedules, monitor labor compliance, and ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Maintain all operational and safety standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Create reports and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in a fine dining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional service and hospitality principles, with the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Extensive wine knowledge, including varietals, pairings, and the ability to curate a distinguished wine list.
  • Basic expertise in cocktail program development, including mixology trends, ingredient sourcing, and presentation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Strong decision-making skills, particularly in problem-solving and team management.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, costs, and profitability, as well as forecasting sales.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
